Seeking Local CDL A Truck Drivers in the Washington, DC area! For over 60 years, this company has been a leader in the valuable collection and disposal of animal and poultry by-products. They serve a wide range of customers across the Mid-Atlantic, eastern and southwestern regions of the United States, including poultry processing plants, abattoirs, restaurants, supermarkets and food service institutions… virtually any business that generates inedible meat, fat, bone and grease by-products. Overview Drivers service restaurants, schools, hotels and government buildings throughout DC, Maryland and Virginia. Drivers collect used cooking oil from 55-gallon drums via pump, averaging 30 stops per shift. Drivers work Monday thru Friday. Weekend work is rare, but drivers should be flexible and willing to work when needed. Drivers average 11-12 hours per day. Overtime after 40 hours. Shift starts early morning depending on route. Schedules are provided to drivers every Thursday for the following week. Drivers are assigned newer, dedicated trucks. Uniforms are provided with laundry service.
